Why the effective rate beats the headline: the discount rate is pro-rata, but platform fee + GST are charged on the full invoice and their weight grows as tenor shrinks — so a 60-day deal at 13% can cost ~19% annualised. Compare bids on effective cost, not the headline rate. Still usually the cheapest short-tenor route for confirmed receivables.
Estimate: charge = value × rate × days/365; effective cost annualised on net advance. GST at 18% where applicable. Platform names: RXIL, M1xchange, Invoicemart (RBI-licensed TReDS exchanges). Indicative — actual bids vary; verify on the platforms.
