Questions people ask

When do I charge CGST + SGST and when IGST?

If your state and the place of supply are the same, split GST equally into CGST and SGST. If they differ, charge the full rate as IGST. The generator does this from the two state fields.

Is an HSN code mandatory on invoices?

Businesses with turnover up to ₹5 crore must show 4-digit HSN on B2B invoices; above ₹5 crore, 6 digits on all invoices. Services use SAC codes.
