How to use the Proforma Invoice generator

About this tool

A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill sent before supply, often to get an advance or a purchase order. It is not a tax invoice and is not reported in GST returns.

No. It is a quotation in invoice form. Issue a proper tax invoice when goods are supplied or services are provided.

Can a buyer claim GST credit on a proforma invoice?

No. Input tax credit needs a tax invoice.
