What must a salary slip show?

Employer and employee names, pay period, days paid, each earning and deduction, and net pay. PF and ESI numbers help employees track contributions.

How is PF calculated on a payslip?

12% of basic + DA. Many employers cap it at 12% of ₹15,000 (₹1,800) if wages are above that limit.
