About this tool
Net burn is expenses minus revenue. With revenue growth, burn shrinks each month; the runway accounts for that.
Worked example
With cash in bank of ₹30,00,000, monthly revenue of ₹4,00,000, monthly expenses of ₹6,50,000 and monthly revenue growth of 3%:
| Net burn this month | ₹2,50,000 |
| Gross burn (expenses) | ₹6,50,000 |
At this growth, revenue covers expenses in month 17 before cash runs out.
