About this tool
Two-wheeler loans are small and short, so dealer offers often hide cost in processing fees or flat rates. If you are quoted a flat rate, convert it with the flat vs reducing rate calculator first.
Worked example
With on-road price of ₹1,20,000, down payment of ₹20,000, interest rate of 11% and tenure of 3 years:
| Monthly EMI | ₹3,274 |
| Loan amount | ₹1,00,000 |
| Total interest | ₹17,859 |
| Total cost (down payment + EMIs) | ₹1,37,859 |

Questions people ask
Are two-wheeler loan rates flat or reducing?
Banks quote reducing-balance rates; some dealer and NBFC schemes quote flat rates, which look lower but cost almost double.
Can I get a bike loan with no down payment?
Some schemes offer 100% funding, but the rate or fees are usually higher. Compare the total cost, not the EMI.
