    Questions people ask

Avalanche or snowball: which is better?

Avalanche (highest rate first) saves the most interest. Snowball (smallest balance first) gives quicker wins that help some people stay on track.

Should I pay off a credit card or a personal loan first?

Usually the card, since card interest of 36–45% a year is far higher than most personal loans.
